Digestibility of NDF and Starch
| To meet the growing needs of our diverse clientele, Weld Laboratories is continually seeking new analyses to offer. This year we are developing a protocol to determine the digestibility of feed materials using an in vitro method. Using rumen fluid and matting material from a canulated cow, we are able to simulate a rumen environment and compare feed samples for digestibility. We are currently exploring the use of this method to model digestibility of NDF in forages and digestibility of starch in processed grains. |
